Genuine Shell Cordovan represents the pinnacle of traditional tanning craftsmanship. Made from a specific part of horsehide, this leather undergoes a meticulous 6-month process at Horween Leather Company in Chicago. The shells are vegetable-tanned, hot-stuffed, hand-curried, and glazed — creating a dense, smooth surface ideal for ultra-fine stropping.

Mounted on a lightweight carbon blank that’s 35% lighter than aluminum, this strop ensures exceptional balance and control during final edge refinement.
