Metallic Diamond Sharpening Stones are used for sharpening knives using Hapstone  sharpeners. Diamonds offer excellent performance in sharpening knives of any steel.

Metallic Diamond Stones utilize copper-tin alloy bonding for high endurance and low wearing rate. Metallic Diamonds consists of a 3 mm thick diamond-bearing metal plate mounted on a high-quality Edge Pro aluminum blank. The diamond-bearing plate contains evenly distributed diamond grains. The manufacture of bonded diamonds is more complex than for coated diamonds. Bonded diamonds provide better feedback and give the sharpening stone a much longer lifespan.

Metallic Diamonds are available in a wide range of grit from 40 (500 um) to 5000 (2.5 um).

Metallic Diamonds can be used without lubricants.

Metallic Diamonds may have tone imperfections. Metallic Diamonds may become darker over time due to natural metal oxidizing, it does not affect the sharpening.

Metallic Diamonds do not require any preparations.
