Performance

Controlled sharpening on hard and soft steels

Hybrid Ceramica works more delicately with the steel matrix and carbide structure than aggressive diamond abrasives, producing a clean and refined surface.

On softer steels, the cutting speed can be comparable to or even faster than diamond stones. On high-hardness steels, the stone maintains effective cutting action while providing excellent control and surface quality.

Maintenance

Easy to keep clean

The surface releases metal contamination easily and can often be refreshed with a small amount of Hapstone Magic Oil and a quick wipe.

Lubrication

Dry, water, or oil

Hybrid Ceramica can be used dry, with water, or with oil. Hapstone Magic Oil or a suitable sharpening emulsion is recommended for a cleaner sharpening surface and easier maintenance.
