Care
Use with water
For the best feedback, use Hapstone Diamond Plates with water as a lubricant. Clean or rinse after use and store dry between sharpening sessions.
Construction
Diamond plate on aluminum blank
Each stone consists of a diamond-bearing nickel plate mounted to a high-quality aluminum blank with laser engraving.
The plate is bonded to a 160 mm aluminum blank with beveled ends for a secure fit in the sharpening system.

After diamond sharpening
For the finishing, the best results can be achieved with the Hapstone Fine Ceramic (Lapped/Ready). For the final polish, use Hapstone Diamond Suspension in 6 µm and 3 µm on a Cowhide Leather Strop Hapstone for a refined, highly polished edge.
Diamond Plates are ferromagnetic and should not be used on magnet-based knife sharpeners.
